Tryout Evaluator is designed for coaches, evaluators, and staff who manage tryout decisions. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to evaluators and organizations using the service.

The service is intended for adults acting on behalf of teams, clubs, or organizations. It is not intended for children to create accounts directly.

Information We Collect About Evaluators

• Account and sign-in information, such as name, email address, authentication identifiers, and profile details you choose to provide.
• Organization and usage information, such as team or club membership, tutorial progress, rankings, notes, and other actions taken inside the service.
• Technical information, such as device, browser, log, and diagnostic data used to operate, secure, and improve the service.
• Billing and transaction information related to paid plans. Payment card details are processed by our payment providers and not stored by us directly.

Player Information

Player information entered into Tryout Evaluator is used only to provide the service the way evaluators and organizations choose to use it. We do not build a separate player marketing database, and we do not use player information to advertise unrelated products.

We keep player information only as part of the evaluation records, notes, rankings, and related service activity created by the evaluators who use the app.

How We Use Information

• Provide and maintain the application.
• Authenticate users and protect access to team information.
• Support product improvement, troubleshooting, billing, and abuse prevention.
• Help organizations manage access, clubs, teams, and shared evaluation workflows.

Evaluator Marketing and Product Offers

We may use evaluator information to tell evaluators about Tryout Evaluator features or other products and services that may be relevant to their work. This type of marketing is voluntary. If we offer you a chance to receive these messages, you can decline. If you do opt in, you can opt out later using the unsubscribe link or other opt-out instructions included in the message.

Opting out of evaluator marketing does not prevent you from using the application.

How We Share Information

We may share information with service providers that help us operate the product, such as hosting, authentication, analytics, and payment vendors. We may also share information with the team, club, or organization that manages your access, and when required to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, safety, and security of users and the service.

Retention

We retain evaluator information for as long as needed to operate the service, maintain organization access, complete transactions, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations.

We retain player information only as part of the evaluation records created through normal use of the service, subject to routine backups and legal requirements.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect the information we process. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, features, service providers, or legal obligations. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date on this page.

Questions and Privacy Requests

Marketing opt-out instructions will be included in the messages we send. For other privacy questions or requests, use the support or account-management contact channel provided with your organization’s access to Tryout Evaluator until a dedicated privacy contact is published on this site.
